1. The car weight shall not exceed 5.0 ounces. The official race scale shall be considered final.

2. The overall length of the car shall not exceed 7 inches.
3. The overall width of the car shall not exceed 2-3/4 inches.
4. The car must have 1-3/4 inches clearance between the wheels to accommodate the race lane.
5. The car must have 3/8 inch clearance underneath the body.
6. The car must be less than 5" in height to clear the finish line.
7. The wood provided in the kit may be used. 
8. Official Pinewood Derby wheels must be used. You may remove the seams and imperfections from the wheels.
9. Official Pinewood Derby axles must be used. They may be polished/lubricated. Only graphite or dry Teflon powder may be used. Liquids (WD-40, Pledge, etc...) are not allowed on the track!
10. Wheel bearings, washers or bushings are prohibited.
11. The car must not ride on any type of spring.
12. The car must be free-wheeling, with no starting devices.
13. All weight material must be secured so it is not moving during the race.
